Tel-Aviv, Israel- November 2011: Within a year of their initial purchase, Levira expanded their Actus Media Monitoring system adding channels and doubling their capacity for recording, monitoring, and compliance. With Actus’ ability to record virtually any signal, digital, analog, and IP, Levira has the freedom to ingest their content directly from IP feeds, eliminating the cost of capture cards. Input from IP transport streams also provides Levira with the simplest way to ingest metadata, including multiple subtitles and multiple audio tracks for a single video feed.
Levira, part of the TDF group, is the largest TV and radio operator in Estonia, with a state-of-the-art Play-out Centre playing channels for all of Scandinavia and transmitting SD and HD content from Central and Eastern Europe. Quality of service being the highest possible, Levira will use the new Actus system to monitor, capture and review all their outgoing video channels to multiple audio tracks. Using Actus’ web based User-Interface Levira staff can access the complete system from any browser, to select their desired play-out language and to switch between them on the fly. Exported media can also have any of the recorded languages associated with the video.
