Rubin’s Expertise Will Be a Boon for US Broadcasters and Further Propel the Company’s Explosive Growth in the Americas

BOSTON — June 3, 2021 — Actus Digital, a leading provider of compliance monitoring and QA logging solutions, today announced that Ken Rubin is joining the company as senior vice president for the Americas. Adding Rubin to the team is a testament to the rapid growth that Actus Digital is experiencing in the Americas, where major players like The Weather Channel, Fox, and many others have selected and deployed the company’s solutions. Having Rubin on board will strengthen the company’s ability to introduce its market-leading solutions to more organizations throughout the Americas.

“Ken’s unparalleled combination of technical expertise, industry experience, likeability, and work ethic made him the ideal choice to lead sales in the Americas,” said Actus Digital CEO Sima Levy. “He has a deep understanding of broadcast workflows to help design optimal solutions. We know he will make immediate and significant contributions to extend the success Actus Digital has enjoyed worldwide with our unique workflows, such as advanced clip editing for fast content turn around to social, digital media, and OTT; automatic audio- and video-based ad detection; and multiple useful AI options.”

Throughout his 30-year career, Rubin has led the sales and marketing teams of some of the streaming and digital media industry’s top brands, building thousands of customer and partner relationships along the way. As a founding sales partner at Volicon, he was responsible for acquiring the company’s largest clients and delivered top sales performance for nearly 10 years before they were ultimately sold to Verizon. Rubin also served in sales leadership roles for Telestream, Grass Valley, and Avid, consistently performing at the highest levels and earning industry accolades along the way.

“Having spent over a third of my career selling compliance monitoring and logging systems, I didn’t expect to see much difference in the Actus system, but I was blown away by the genuinely unique features in the new June ’21 version 7.0 software release,” Rubin said. “Not only does Actus Digital have a brilliant platform and toolset but more importantly, they contrast the instability found in products that have recently entered the market with such a mature and stable product that has been deployed for over 16 years at over 500 customer sites. Anyone not happy with their existing compliance monitoring, smart logging, or content repurposing solution should schedule a demo to see what makes Actus Digital absolutely best of class.”

To further accelerate the adoption of the Actus Digital platform, the company has introduced a new, U.S.-specific, affordable pricing model. This enables any organization to benefit from the proven and trusted Actus Digital engineering solutions, with options for upgrade packages that expand use cases and increase the value for news, sales, management, and other departments throughout the organization.
